Abstract

MAX AGUERO, Ernesto F.; DEL VALLE QUINTEROS, Delia  and  DEL CARMEN ANGELA GALVEZ, Enriqueta. ¿Forced materniny?: Precocious pregnancy in the neoliberal context. An approach from social work to the precocious pregnancy subject. Cuad. Fac. Humanid. Cienc. Soc., Univ. Nac. Jujuy [online]. 2004, n.22, pp.295-303. ISSN 1668-8104.

This paper is a research subproject which is being developed in the context of the "Permanent Research Project" carried out by the Family Social Work I Chair which has been approved by the 53-90-994 Resolution of the Governing Board from the Facultad de Filosofía y Letras, Universidad Nacional de Tucumán. The aim of the project is the "study, comprehension and analysis of precocious pregnancy as a growing phenomenon in our community and, therefore, its relationship with the global conditions in which it is produced". Responding to qualitative research characteristics, it is organized in two stages. The first one corresponds to the recuperation, analysis and interpretation of the body of secondary sources data and to the immersion in the field.( no me gusta esta expresión "immersion in the field")(no sé a qué se refiere en castellano) The second stage corresponds to the reconstruction of the studied situation. The cases are approached so as to comprehend the characteristics that assume the body of social representations that sustain and give sense to the implicated agents' social action or practice and to compare them in relation to the conditions produced by globality. From this point onwards, it is expected to think over and evaluate the Social Worker's models and techniques of intervention in the familiar dimension and in the subject in consideration.

Keywords : Maternity; Precocious Pregnancy; Neoliberal context; Social Work.
