Abstract

This project refers to one the dimentions of the analysis which was treated in a previous investigation. It is about the focus that assume the software and/or the teaching methodology of the Natural Science in the practicals. It puts forward the identification of the conceptualizations and appreciations that teachers give to software and methods; the discovery of the cultural and social-educative factors that are involved and the way they are put into practice. In this cualitative search the study of cases was chosen to let a systematic, detailed, intensive and deep exam of the phenomenon. The place was a school where the natural environment is important. Classes observations, interviews and reference material analysis were made in order to get information. In this section it is introduced the analysis of the curricular reference material focused on Natural Science Area, particularly on Chemistry as general part of the curricular conception of the Educative Transformation. It is empathized in those which support the software and the methodological orientations which are presented as "innovatory". They are intended to manage the kind of relationships that the teacher has with the contents to teach and the way of doing this.
