This work presents the advances of the Research Project 1083 of CIUNSa. (Research Council of Salta State University): Argumentation in the Polimodal: a case study. The project aims to research into the argumentative ability of the Polimodal students and the strategies developed by teachers in order that their students may acquire it. We present the results of different surveys carried out to Polimodal teachers and students. The final objective is to train teachers in methodologies to develop an argument. It is important to introduce a logic of discourse that gives some coherence and rationality to thought, which is the purpose of the argumentation logic.
