Abstract

AUTINO, Beatriz del Carmen  and  DIGION, Marisa Angélica. Computer science tool of support for the autoevaluation of learnings. Cuad. Fac. Humanid. Cienc. Soc., Univ. Nac. Jujuy [online]. 2008, n.34, pp.123-131. ISSN 1668-8104.

This work presents the obtained product of the concretion of one of the activities planned in the frame of the Project of Investigation " Evaluation for the comprehension in the Mathematical Area, in the Faculty of Economic Sciences of the National University of Jujuy ", approved and financed by the mentioned Institution. In this, the evaluation is conceived " as a constant process of cross-check of learnings that allows to do rectifications in the way of teaching and learning " (Santos Guerra, 2005). Nevertheless, in the practice, the above mentioned theoretical position constitutes a real challenge to achieve in the students significant learnings. This problem in the context of public universities of state management is deepened in the first two years of study. A possible cause of this difficulty is the great amount of pupils that attend classes and to the scarce endowment of teachers assigned to lead the educational process. Then: what alternatives arise in this ambience? It turns out to be essential to encourage pedagogic methods faced to achieving that the student could autorregular his own evaluation. To resort to computer hardware to promote activities that serve for monitoring and to stimulate learning, that generate instances for the analysis of wise moves and errors and that allow a continues feedback of its advances, turns out to be a valid option inside the frames of real accessibility that the big majority of the pupils have today. It is believed that, the implementation of this form of evaluation in the subjects Algebra and Analytical Geometry and Mathematical Analysis of the Faculty of Economic Sciences of the National University of Jujuy, will contribute to the improvement of the educational practices.

Keywords : learning; autorregulation; evaluation of learnings; computer hardware.
