PALERMO. An invisible violence in knowledge colony. Cuad. Fac. Humanid. Cienc. Soc., Univ. Nac. Jujuy [online]. 2010, n.38, pp.79-88. ISSN 1668-8104.

Eurocentered paradigms in circulation are abundant considering different characters about "the other" all of then at least the ones validated through the academic discourse becoming concrete from the inside of hegemonic thought (Dussel). We believe necessary to propose alternatives from the external word of this thought, from the "us" perspective of this I offer an approach to the modernity colonialism decolonization paradigm (Escobar, Grosfogel, Palermo) from the analysis of the colonization of knowledge (Mignolo), one of the forms of colonization of power (Quijano) constituted by the Latin American cultures. Among the multitude of convalidate serial officers in our days for the expert discourse as for the political, multicultural processes stand out (Walsh). From the perspective we operate, we believe it is pertinent to offer on it a critical look, printing out the possible reappropriations local preactices, considering new hegemonic forms (Lander). Our research work clearly in-disciplinarian (Castro-Gómez) and because of his antinationalist position do not define a method the way modern science understand. On the other hand, we are interested, principally, the problems on the emergency questions, either sociocultural or economical from the sector in the world marked by the "colonial difference" (Quijano), to construct a southern epistemology (de Souza Santos). Advancements of this transnational group and their discussions are found circulating through an important corpus of individual publications as well as group publications whose data is found in the bibliography of the proposal.
