This article reports the analysis carried out with regard to the first advances performed within the framework of a research project with the aim of determining if at the Faculty of Economic Sciences, National University of Jujuy, whether it is feasible and suitable to implement virtual classrooms in the subjects that are part of the career syllabus in order to develop the educational process in the Blended- Learning mode. The partial results obtained, demanded the exploration, description, explanation and understanding of the existing conditions within the aforementioned context, considering the Faculty, professors and students as categories of analysis. The survey of quantitative and qualitative data, its organization and interpretation by means of the statistical (descriptive, inferential, parametric and non- parametric) as well as qualitative analysis, enabled to have an initial diagnose about the possibilities of considering Information and Communication Technologies as part of the educational innovation process which has to be considered nowadays so as to give answers to the resulting conceptual technology of learning. Having performed the analysis it can be stated that: it is the authorities' will to carry on the professors' systematic training in order to set up the Blended- Learning teaching. In general, there is a relative favourable attitude on the professors' side as regards the use and usefulness of virtual classrooms as part of the educational process for the students show digital natives features, though with some restrictions about the access to digital technology and Internet
