Abstract

AMBROGI, Sofía  and  FUNES, Mercedes Catalina. ("Sowing productive vocations": Analysis of educational materials of the Escuelagro Program of the Ministry of Agro-industry (2016) aimed at agro-technical secondary schools in the context of the agri-business model). Cuad. Fac. Humanid. Cienc. Soc., Univ. Nac. Jujuy [online]. 2020, n.57, pp.197-217. ISSN 1668-8104.

Escuelagro is a program created at the end of 2016 from the then Ministry of Agro-Industry aimed at rural and agro-technical secondary schools, to strengthen the link between education and the agro-industrial production sector. In this paper we propose to analyze official documentary sources of Escuelagro, focusing on the formative axes that appear in them in relation to the productive agricultural and agro-industrial world. Attention is drawn to the emphasis placed on the formation of networks and collaborative work between the education system and the productive sector, linked to more than eighty agro-industrial companies, technical associations of the sector, and non-profit organizations in the formulation of teaching materials. We are particularly interested in inquiring about speeches and the public agenda built about the socio-productive model of agri-business and the job opportunities of future graduates of these schools, which can be identified in these official documents

Keywords : Agrarian and rural secondary school; Agroindustry; Agribusiness model; Hegemony; Networking.
