The paper proposes to identify the principal objectives and fundamentals from which ancient Stoicism has understood the concept of education, in its inescapable bond with ethics and politics. Bearing this (goal) in mind, our purpose will be to analyze Stoic paideía in the light of a moral and political interpretation of the cosmopolitism thesis, as well as in the role that the notion of 'common law' plays in this educational proposal.
