This paper analyzes the migration process evidenced in the town Libertador San Martin, Entre Ríos, Argentina (ex Camarero Colony), between 1890-1908, through information networks organized by the General Conference of Seventh-day Adventist Church (SDA), with headquarters in Silver Spring, Maryland. It aims to explain the influence of the SDA in shaping migration chains by analyzing generated information networks among families, professionals and ministers settled in the colony and the General Conference of the SDA. We use the categories of chain migration and social networks own cultural geography and qualitative methodology with document analysis techniques.
