The PRT-ERP was one of the paradigmatic armed left-wing organizations during the 70’s in Argentina. This paper aims to analyze the connections between violence and politics in this organization during 1970-1973, a period that begins with the call of Alejandro Agustín Lanusse for a “Big National Agreement” (“Gran Acuerdo Nacional” in Spanish) and ends with the elections of the year 1973 that resulted in Juan Domingo Peron’s return to the national presidency.
