Abstract

MARISCAL, Cintia Lucila. Democracy in the folds of the flesh: An approach to the subjective conditions of democracy in Claude Lefort. Enfoques [online]. 2018, vol.30, n.1, pp.83-105. ISSN 1669-2721.

This paper is part of a general interrogation about the problem of power and its modes of internalization that seeks to elucidate the dimension of subjectivity both in the processes of reproduction and transformation of the social order. The paper intends to approach Lefort’s thought with a foreign question but with the purpose of finding the specificity that takes this problem from within his work. It will be expose the fundamental outlines of his power and democracy’s theories to find there the necessity to research the subjectivity and his process of socialization as condition for the permanency of the democracy.
