Abstract

DI VIRGILIO, María Mercedes et al. Competencias para el trabajo de campo cualitativo: formando investigadores en Ciencias Sociales. Rev. argent. sociol. [online]. 2007, vol.5, n.9, pp.90-110. ISSN 1669-3248.

In this article we reflect about the formation of young researchers in social sciences in qualitative studies with field work, starting from the experience of the authors as professors and teaching assistants of Research Methods in Social Sciences, under the direction of Dr. Ruth Sautu, at the University of Buenos Aires. The article resumes the concept of competences to put in order the research practices proposed by the team and, starting from thinking of the student as an "active agent" in the teaching-learning process, recuperates the classroom experiences to evaluate our own activity as teachers.

Keywords : Qualitative research; Field work; Formation; Competences; Ethnography.
