This paper argues that youth dynamics should be unders tood as forms of participation that do not necessarily belong to traditional forms of political participation. The research explores youth cultures performativity, the body as biopolitical resistance and as a vehicle for youth par ticipation, and the different forms of citizenships based on Rosana Reguillo's perspective. It also analyzes youth participation as a politics of the event.
