Abstract

RUFINO, Javier. Action and speech of Saint Catherine of Siena: a Woman who made history in a time of men. Aljaba [online]. 2007, vol.11, pp.101-118. ISSN 1669-5704.

We will analyze the action and to the monk-political speech of Santa Catherine de Siena. This one last one in direct relation with the criminal action that it unfolded. In order to include/ understand speech and action we must reconstruct the first stage of the life of Catherine and resort to the direct sources -the Caterine's writings, in individual the Dialogues-, and to the indirect sources -the [hagiografías] written by which they knew her-, like thus also to the modern biographies.
