Abstract

FERNANDEZ, Marisa  and  MENDEZ, Laura. Teached history, cinema and women: a triade to debate. Aljaba [online]. 2009, vol.13. ISSN 1669-5704.

This paper analyzes the possibilities the cinema offers for teaching history in relation to gender identities. The film text can show and denaturalize the manner that representations about masculine and feminine have been built and, at the same time, can recover the woman pictures either accepted or rejected, that circulate in social discourses of diverse socio-historical contexts

Keywords : Teached history; Gender; Cinema; Feminist critical.
