This text explores the logic and contents of two transnational discourses that dispute cultural meaning over the beginning of human life and personhood, the implications of reproduction, and the limits of women's rights. I analyzes the evolution and confrontation of actors who circulate theses respective discourses within the specific context of Baja California, México.
