The aim of the paper lies in analyzing the nature of political participation of women within the various human rights organizations in the province of La Pampa, rescuing them as historical subjects and protagonists of our history. We start to understand participation as a way of self-asserting in society as a legitimate way of claiming our rights as citizens and the citizenship as appropriative practice of existing rights and producer of new rights. It is in the field of human rights organizations at national and local level where participation in general and women in particular enabled the reconstruction of the threads of community and political solidarity corrupted by systematical state violence. Through oral history, is to rescue the voices of women who were active participants in the task of establishing, in pampas society in particular and Argentina in general, demand for justice and the recovery of individual and collective rights.
