The main purpose of this article is to give an account of the warm and enthusiastic welcome Eva Duarte, General Peron's wife, received from both the Spanish authorities and people, during her stay in our country, from the eighth to the twenty-sixth of June, 1947. In order to understand its international extent, it's necessary to start with both countries' international context and each country's main goals for mutual rapprochement. Such rapprochement was achieved with Eva Duarte's journey to Spain.
