In a passage of his work: "Blanquerna", Raimundo Lulio describes a monkish community directed by an exemplary abbess who teaches to its pupils like they should be used the senses of the view correctly, the hearing, the olfaction, the pleasure and the tact. All these senses must by accord to the religious orders objectives.
