Abstract

GONZALEZ, M. Paula. Teacher's knowledge and practices of history: Usages and readings of the nunca más. Rev. Esc. Hist. [online]. 2011, vol.10, n.2. ISSN 1669-9041.

This paper analyzes the knowledge and teaching practices in relation to Argentina's recent history, -particularly in relation to the last dictatorship and previous years-, looking at teacher's uses and readings of Nunca Más. The work analyzes the arrival of the recent history at the school, the option to interpret the sense of teaching practice on this transmission and contextualize the Nunca Más in the memory of Argentina's recent past. The uses and readings of the Nunca Más are crossed by personal, political and ethical variables -in addition to the curriculum and context- and put the teachers between references, sensitivities, witnesses and sources.
