The article analyzes the newspaper of the CGT de los Argentinos identifying the reasons for its gradual weakening. The new trade union failed to reach its main objective (to create an anticapitalist and revolutionaries core) because of Peron's decisive intervention in favor of the rival CGT Azopardo and from the incidence of certain dilemmatic situations which, according to Gillespie, would be inherent in the "peronist left". This would have also generated a growing internal conflict culminating in early 1970, in the opposition between "revolutionary" and "combative" sectors.
