The administration of colonial justice for the indigenous society as part of the political project of the Spanish crown in America, transcended many aspects of their culture, which was recorded during the colonial period in judicial sources. In this paper, we analyzed through the category of "justice of proximity" that allows us to start rethinking the semantics of what is conceived as "justice" or "uses". On the other hand, the redefinition of the "distance" allows us to retrace their itineraries, explore the multiple dimensions that it acquires and display -in the extent possible the advantages and disadvantages that purchases be "close" or "far" from his field exercise. But also allow us to analyze the disputes over the legitimacy and leadership chiefdom as well as the uses of justice that made the various actors in the legal practice, all from civil and criminal court records.
