In this article the author covers the experience of technology along the twentieth century. Having this context as a background, he settles the resulting technoethical questions. On the other hand, he examines different practical answers to this questions arising from the scientific and professional community and the process public policy decision making. Finally, he reflects on the philosophical answers to the ethical challenges posed by technology and, at the same time, he situates the limits concerning these reflections.
