National and international trends about evaluation of education systems indicate the level of consolidation and expansion that has taken place in all areas of the teaching-learning process. This is due to an objective assessment that has facilitated the implementation of mechanisms for the continuous improvement and benefit of educational institutions. This article discusses some of the evaluation criteria used for digital learning materials, in order to analyze the application of different approaches, divergences and convergences -conceptual or methodological-, and especially to identify the current challenges on the subject
