Resumen

MEYER BECKER, Marcelo. Knowledge Regulation And Behavioral Knowledge Studies. Rev. iberoam. cienc. tecnol. soc. [online]. 2017, vol.12, n.34, pp.133-159. ISSN 1850-0013.

Knowledge is regulated by an array of factors. Namely, there are certain political, financial and behavioral circumstances as well as researchers’ capabilities and choices to be taken into account as far as the several ways in which they relate with national and international situations. The research that led to this paper took on a reflective position in which the so-called scientific studies were the basis to define and bring forth the behavioral knowledge studies. A qualitative approach was the chosen methodology. This paper focuses on the point of view assumed by researchers in the anthropology departments of Chilean universities. It shows that regulations revised in the bibliography currently impact the dynamics in anthropological research in Chile. The aforementioned indicates that researchers participate in ongoing processes in the regulation of their production of knowledge
