Resumen

ROSLER, Roberto. Los siete pecados capitales delpower point: Como ser un presentador visual y nomorir en el intento. Rev. argent. neurocir. [online]. 2006, vol.20, n.2, pp.79-82. ISSN 1850-1532.

Itis of great importance to use images in your presentations because the majorityof your auditorium will probably be composed of visual creatures, that havefundamentally matured symbolically through images. Of all the audiovisualmethods the Power Point has the advantage of requiring less interaction (merelypressing a button), generating in this way less interruptions in theinformation flow. Do not turn off the light during your presentations for tworeasons: 1) the presenter disappears and 2) listening a voice in the darknessonly produces drowsiness. Remember that the formal beauty of the image that youinsert in each slide has to be in strict equilibrium with the didacticalclarity. A less "charged" slide relates with a better interpretationfrom the auditorium. The minimum size recommended for letters is 44 points forthe title and 32 points for the text. Slides in Power Point are made to beinterpreted by the auditorium, NOT to be read. Do not control your auditoriumsocular movements with the laser; use the resources of the PPT to do it. Therecommendation for this is to use letters without serif: Arial, Arial Black,Tahoma and Verdana. Do not use more than 7 words in capital letters in eachslide. Use dark background and light letters in the slide design.

Palabras clave : Didactics; Power point.
