Tumor resections are described using frame-based stereotactic and frameless, stereotactic systems, intraoperative ultrasound, awake surgery and cortical mapping. Results: 57 patients were operated. Complications: 7 (12%), postoperative morbidity and mortality 0%. 5 patients died at the end of this study; 13 (22.8%) were operated awake; 4 (7%) lesions were located in the eloquent area; 7 (12%) near eloquent area and 46 (80%) in non-eloquent area.
