Taking fieldwork as a framework, the author analyzes the production of a hierarchical order in a given interaction space. She aims to show that individual and collective categories formed by the actors to classify (themselves) and to build an "inside" and an "outside" are consistent with the logics of power that structure that social space, which cannot be studied independently of these logics.
