Abstract
AGIER, Michel. Thinking the subject, decentering anthropology. Cuad. antropol. soc. [online]. 2012, n.35, pp. 9-27. ISSN 1850-275X.
In anthropology, the subject can be considered a third concept that enables transcending the various meanings attributed to the notions of person and individual without eliminating them. The figure of the subject allows to overcome the issues regarding identity that anthropology has dealt with from its origins up to the more recent debates that oppose communitarism and republic.
Keywords : Person; Individual; Subjectivation; Refugees; Philosophy and Anthropology.
