VAQUER, José María. Corporate Persons, Corporate Partnerships: : Conflict, Social Practices And Incorporation In Vinto Cruz (Norte De Lipez, Potosi, Bolivia) During The Late Regional Developments Period (1200-1450 Bc). Intersecciones antropol. [online]. 2010, vol.11, n.1, pp.199-213. ISSN 1850-373X.
In this paper the results of excavations of domestic outer spaces from Cruz Vinto, a pukara from the Late Regional Developments Period (1200-1450 BC), located in the Colcha "K" Peninsula, Northern Lípez, Potosí, Bolivia, are presented and related to the spatial syntax and structuration of the landscape. The aim is to interpret the incorporation process that took place in domestic spaces that resulted in the constitution of corporative persons, and recursively, corporative societies. The evidence from excavations shows that the activities that took place in the settlement were related to a situation of insecurity. The ceramic assemblage consists mainly of storage vessels, while the lithic assemblage shows little evidence of tool production (mostly projectile points) and an intensive use of raw material. Corporativism and conflict, as local and global poles of Late period societies, were complementary phenomena that influenced the incorporation process.
