Abstract

RESTIFO, Federico. Early hunter-gatherer lithic technology: analysis of an assemblage from Alero Cuevas site, Pastos Grandes, Puna De Salta, Argentina. Intersecciones antropol. [online]. 2011, vol.12, n.2, pp.345-348. ISSN 1850-373X.

The results of the analysis of the lithic assemblage recovered from Alero Cuevas site, Pastos Grandes Basin, Puna de Salta, are presented. The site has an archaeological context dated to the early Holocene. The trends observed are briefly discussed in light of a regional research framework and perspectives for future work.
