Abstract

Two radiocarbon dates from Cañada Honda Site 1, Baradero, Buenos Aires province, are presented. Both were taken from bone remains of Lama guanicoe from the Cañada Honda collection of the Carlos Ameghino Museum, Mercedes. Dates of 2030 ± 100 and 2130 ± 60 C ¹⁴ years BP were obtained and are discussed in relation to the local geomorphology and chronology of the human occupation of the area.
