This paper presents certain technological features of pottery assemblages from five sites in the north area of the Middle Parana alluvial plain (El Delgado, Los Bananos, Los Chanchos, El Nene and Paso del Tala). These late Holocene sites show a hunter-gatherer-fisher adaptive pattern. The aim of this paper is to evaluate technological traits describing the process of manufacturing ceramic vessel. The study of pottery-making techniques was approached through the description of surface finish, decoration and manufacturing marks. Paste analysis was performed through a binocular microscope. Results show ceramic homogeneity at these sites, therefore reflect the same ceramic tradition.
