Resumen
BRICHETTI, Irene Elena. Museos, aficionados y arqueólogos en la descentralización de la arqueología pampeana argentina, 1960-1980. Intersecciones antropol. [online]. 2017, vol.18, n.2, pp.209-219. ISSN 1850-373X.
This paper explains the participation of amateurs in the process of decentralization of the archaeology of the Pampean Region in general and in the center south-east region in particular between 1960 and 1980. As such, the paper documents the composition and late structuring process of the reciprocal links between a regional museum from Buenos Aires and specific scientific metropolitan centers with national influence. First, contacts among amateurs of the Museo de Historia y Ciencias Naturales, Lobería, and the archaeologists of the Museo Etnográfico “Juan Bautista Ambrosetti” (Buenos Aires), Museo Etnográfico Municipal “Dámaso Arce” (Olavarría), and Museo de La Plata are contextualized within the political and academic frame that existed during the decades analyzed. Second, the scientific expeditions directed by Ciro Lafon from the Department of Anthropological Science, Museo Etnográfico “J. B. Ambrosetti”, to Lobería are explained in detail in order to question the association between Guillermo Madrazo and Gesué Noseda that led to the decentralization of Pampean archaeology.
