In this paper, a series of data on archaeological studies carried out in Isla Victoria, Nahuel Huapi National Park, is presented, including unpublished work produced by one of the authors (A. H.) more than 30 years ago, as well as new projects in the area. To date, 30 archaeological sites have been documented on the Island. The excavation of the PT1 site is described and an initial characterization of the recovered materials made. Two occupation events were detected: an initial one ca. 2000 BP, and a late one after ca. 640 BP. Finally, these data are discussed in the context of the available regional information for the last 2000 years BP.
