Abstract

VERONICA, Parra; OTERO, Maria Rita  and  ELICHIRIBEHETY, Ines. Organizaciones Matemáticas que se estudian en la Universidad en torno a la noción de Función: un estudio de caso. Rev. electrón. investig. educ. cienc. [online]. 2006, vol.1, n.2, pp.65-83. ISSN 1850-6666.

This work analyses Mathematics teaching at University level. A case study on the Maths Analysis discipline and its Applications in the field of Economy was carried out. Anthropological Theory of Didactics (ATD) (Chevallard, 1992, 1997, 1999) is used for analyzing and characterizing Mathematical Organizations (MO) which coexist in this Institution and the Didactic Organizations (DO) developed by Professor during the study of those MO. No participatory observation has been carried out for a long period of time in two class groups. The sessions considered on this occasion are the ones referred to Functions. The MO related to a Function are described analyzing continuities and breaks between its components and its consolidation in the evaluation stage. Didactic Organizations (DO) related to Mathematical Organizations (MO) in question are also characterised.

Keywords : Universidad; Función; Organización Matemática; Organización Didáctica; Teoría Antropológica de lo Didáctico.
