Some questions concerning the role of research on teaching practice as an element in the process of teacher training and the importance of reflection as a component that must permeate the structure of Education Courses, breaking up with standards that are exceedingly technical, are focused. Based on such ideas, an instance of how those guidelines have been present in a process of early training of Physics teachers, in the subject 'Teaching Practice' is presented, and the results obtained from the study are pointed out.
