Abstract

BRAVO, Bettina M.; PESA, Marta A.  and  ROCHA, Adriana L.. The teaching of science and its implications on knowledge of students. For optical phenomena. Rev. electrón. investig. educ. cienc. [online]. 2013, vol.8, n.1, pp.62-76. ISSN 1850-6666.

In this paper we study what and how students learn in secondary education, science models proposed to explain the formation and vision of the optical images, when implemented in the classroom, a teaching model designed in this research. It works with 10 high school students 15 to 16 years old. It implements a quasi-experimental design (no control group) type pretest - intervention-posttest. Students has experienced a radical change in their way of knowing. We discuss the impact of teaching and warns of the conceptual nuclei whose learning is more complex for students.

Keywords : Proposal of teaching; Optical image; Vision; Learning of the optics.
