In undergraduate courses, a very important component are the subject of inference and, in particular, hypothesis testing or simply contrasts. However, these are usually only shown from the frequentist perspective. Hypothesis tests for difference of means, for example, where is no information about variances are usually treated as a simple approach, although there are practical solutions already in literature very easy to implement. This article shows how is possible to treat the problem based on the t-student distribution.
