DOS SANTOS NORA, Paulo  and  DIAS BROIETTI, Fabiele Cristiane. Rev. electrón. investig. educ. cienc. [online]. 2018, vol.13, n.1, pp.01-14. ISSN 1850-6666.

This article consists of a study about the Scientific Practices (PC) contemplated in PISA Science issues. Based on the analyzes of the statements and the expected answers, we sought to identify and analyze the Scientific Practices present in the questions, namely: asking questions; developing and using models; planning and carrying out investigations; analyzing and interpreting data; using mathematics and computational thinking; constructing explanations; engaging in argument from evidence and; obtaining, evaluating and communicating information. It is a predominantly qualitative research supported by the methodological assumptions of content analysis. The questions involving chemical concepts of the tests from the years 2000 to 2015 were analyzed, totaling 59 questions. Considering these practices as a priori categories, through the analyzes we highlight the following results: constructing explanations; analyzing and interpreting data; and to planning and carrying out investigations were the Scientific Practices most evidenced in the issues, practices that are in agreement with the competences required by PISA. In addition, the PC have been shown to be actions that help in understanding phenomena and problem solving, contributing to scientific learning.
