Resumen

MARTINS, Alanna Dahan; MASSARANI, Luisa; ROCHA, Jessica Norberto  y  COSTANZO, Guadalupe Diaz. Adolescentes presentes: una experiencia en el Centro Cultural de la Ciencia en Argentina. Rev. electrón. investig. educ. cienc. [online]. 2020, vol.15, n.1, pp.50-59. ISSN 1850-6666.

This exploratory and qualitative study aims to understand the experience of adolescents visiting, outside the school context, the Cultural Center of Science (C3), in Buenos Aires, Argentina. We analyzed the visit of five groups of adolescents, aged between 15 and 18 years old, from public schools. The results revealed that there was interactivity during the visit, a desired aspect in these places of communication of science and culture and occurred within two of the three spheres of the adopted theoretical model: among visitors themselves and among the visitors and objects. The third sphere, the interaction between adolescents and explainers, had no strong presence. We also observed that most of the conversations that have emerged among the visitors were about the operation of the exhibitions and not about scientific subjects.

Palabras clave : Adolescents; Science centers; Visitor perspective; Interactivity.
