Abstract

The starting point in the design of any teaching sequence from an ontological-conceptual-change view is to know the nature of the target concept. This work presents the ontological analysis of the concept of electromagnetic induction, carried out with the purpose of constructing a guide for the design of a didactic proposal centered in the nature of the concept and in its relativistic character. From this study, it is concluded that the electromagnetic induction is a Direct Process type of concept, whatever inertial system is chosen to carry out the analysis.
