The expansion of educational proposals mediated by technology has led to innovative strategies and resources such as learning objects (LO) and the subsequent global spread of LO repositories. This work was motivated by the need to locate LO that complement classroom teaching of database design methodologies, classic content of any informatics or computer sciences career. The work starts with the search in the Learning Object Repositories (LOR) inspected. Once the LO were located, the evaluation stage started, examining previously proposals for measuring quality of learning objects, in order to obtain information that constitutes a reference to potential re-users. For the selection of assessment tools to be used, consideration was given those providing the possibility of a quantifiable result, where the observable dimensions are clearly defined.
