One of the activities our present society is identified with is the fact of being online all the time, mainly through the newest mobile devices. This state benefits the user who has a high-performance data network available, where the gap between a domestic network and the mobile environments becomes almost invisible. Considering the availability of the omnipresent technology, it is possible to reach the goal: give information to the different actors who are part of the institutions in general and, in this particular case, educative institutions. The idea is the creation of an app which can work autonomously without the action of the interested party. e-News is an app which enables an institution or a person to have fast and simple access to the news spread through blogs. It is a solution that combines both systems: on the one hand, a web-based system, a blog management software developed by Google, the well-known On the other hand, e-News, the mobile app developed for smart devices based on Android. E-News is a mobile app that is being used in the School of Engineering from UNLP by the research group of ubiquitous environments.
