This work is part of a research that has being carried out about the use of Hypermedia Materials for teaching Mathematics at the University. A case of study involving the design and implementation of a Hypermedia Material in a Mathematics course for freshmen of a School of Engineering was performed. Variables that can affect students' attitude (negative, positive or indifferent) in relation to their experience with Hypermedia Material are analyzed. As a consequence, in this paper, some of the results obtained in relation to student attitudes towards the use of this Hypermedia Material are presented. Positive and negative factors found throughout this experience are detailed here, so it can serve as scaffolding for other teachers in the area.
