Resumen

MORFIN OTERO, María; GONZALEZ QUINTANILLA, Claudia Adriana  y  PALOMERA PEREZ, Brenda Jasmín. The influence of the order of subjects in adult learning in online courses. Rev. iberoam. tecnol. educ. educ. tecnol. [online]. 2019, n.23, pp.14-21. ISSN 1851-0086.

In this paper, we present the results of a study with the objective of finding out if the order in which the subjects of a program are taken influences the students' success. This is an analytical study using students' records and participation data from the learning platform. The program studied is carried out completely online and consists of four monthly subjects that are taken sequentially. The results indicate that the order in which the subjects are taken does influence students"™ success. We also found that, as the program progresses, students' enthusiasm and participation diminishes, as does their grades. Therefore, we consider that there is no academic commutativity for this program.
