Abstract

GRINSZTAJN, Fabiana et al. Digital cultures and pedagogical experiences: Integral Project of Digital Inclusion in the FCV-UBA as institutional policy. Rev. iberoam. tecnol. educ. educ. tecnol. [online]. 2019, n.23, pp.22-30. ISSN 1851-0086.

Rethinking and redesigning university education is currently an inescapable challenge, not only because of the impact that digitalism has on the social and professional world today, but also because the speed in the production and diffusion of knowledge encourages universities to give answers to new needs in education. The Veterinary Sciences School of the University of Buenos Aires, assumes the transition towards a digital culture as an institutional policy. It encourages the training of veterinarians in ICT skills in their professional activity. Therefore, it develops multiple activities of professionalization of teaching, stimulating the creation of a new architecture for learning, using different technologies. The "Integral Project of Digital Inclusion" and the Working Days are part of a set of actions implemented by the Academic Secretary since 2015. The convergence of these led to the development of more than 30 training experiences with digital technologies, involving at least 60 teachers. The impact is translated not only into learning outcomes, but also into the making of positive conditions for the development of a digital culture in the institution.
