This note presents the identification of plants used as food in the Guayascate historic site (Cordoba, Argentina). Botanical micro-remains in ceramic fragments infer the consumption of corn, carob and caranday palm, native species that were part of the subsistence of pre-Hispanic groups in the Sierras Centrales region.
