Abstract

BARREIRO, Alicia  and  ZUBIETA, Elena. Immanent Justice and Just World Believes: two complementary processes. Anu. investig. [online]. 2005, vol.12, pp.71-78. ISSN 1851-1686.

From the framework of genetic psychology and social psychology, with their own theoretical and methodological particularities, Justice believes were taken as key concept in order to analyze the relationship between rational-individual social knowledge and collective one. Based on Just World Believes (Rubin y Peplau, 1973) and Immanent Justice conceptions (Piaget; 1926/1982; 1932/1971), a descriptive correlational study was carried out with a sample of 56 primary school children of Buenos Aires city. Through clinical interviews and Just World Believes scale it was tried to identify the existence of these believes and the relationship between them. Results show that relationship between immanent justice ideas and just word believes do not contradict but confirm Piaget asseverations. They are complementary processes whose intersection indicate the activation of complex sociocognitive processes in individuals when entering in adult life.

Keywords : Believes; Immanent Justice; Justice World.
