This paper tries to go deep into some metapsychological concepts used to describe the constitution of the psychic apparatus in severe developmental disorders and its transformations starting from the acquisition of writing, as a part of the research: "WRITING, COMMUNICATION AND PSYCHIC STRUCTURATION IN SEVERE DEVELOPMENTAL DISORDERS", specially in the subjects of processing of excitation quantity and function of the representational systems. The goal is to get more precision in the concepts. As an example, two of the cases studied in this investigation are resumed.
